Active Connection Between DB and PM#825872

Hi,

Can any one tell me how process maker connect to the data base when the DB is hosted in another server?
How it is connected when a user opens PM in browser or always keep the connection active ?

Looking at the general_query_log in MySQL, there is a new database connection each time the SQL statement of a Dynaform field is executed. If you have a dependent field, it will establish a new database connection each time time the value of the independent field changes and a new database query needs to be executed and then the connection is closed.
