Please I am trying to upload a file using the file upload button from one task and be able to view the file in the next task that will be executed. How do I do such so that i can be able to see the file and possible do some changes to the file?

The easiest way to do this is to have the same Input Document and assign it as a step in both tasks. If you want to do this with file fields in DynaForms, it is much harder. In the first dynaform, put a file field. In the second dynaform, put a link to access the file previously uploaded and a file field with the same field name as before to upload a new version of the file. To make the link open the file which was previously uploaded, see:
http://wiki.processmaker.com/index.php/ ... ment_Files
http://wiki.processmaker.com/index.php/ ... _DynaForms

In the example code from the link above, you need to change AD.APP_DOC_TYPE='INPUT' to AD.APP_DOC_TYPE='ATTACHED'

Hi,

For uploading files in dynaform:

I tried Amos' suggestion of using the same file field name in Task 2 Dynaform #2. I copied xml code including Input Doc UID. I couldn't get versioning to work when it goes to the next task. Two files show up in CASES >> Information >> Uploaded Documents. Both are Version 1 and have different Origin Tasks.

How to replicate Versioning in Steps for Dynaforms?

Thanks
