Hi, I'm trying to build a custom trigger than allows me to send back updated json data.
I thought I'd need to store the retrieved decoded data in an array case variable and then update it when required during the process, before passing it back to be applied.

a) right approach?
b) if so, why can't I store my array as case array variable...it always seems to hang with the following:

@=CURRENTRECORD = $data;

Thoughts? Any help appreciated

You shouldn't have any problem. What is the content of your $data variable? Do this in your trigger:
Code: Select all
print "<pre>";
var_dump($data);
die;
Is @=CURRENTRECORD associated with a control in a DynaForm? That might cause a problem if incompatible.
