Hello All,

We have a dropdown SQL not working. After a requester completes the create request form, the first approver needs to approve the form, and this is where the problem is. The approver1 needs to select from a dropdown field the next approver. This list comes from a custom PM Table. Please see attached files showing PM table fields, and also the data fields

This is the SQL for the dropdown field:
SELECT F_AMR_APPROVER_EMAIL, F_AMR_APPROVER_EMAIL
FROM PMT_AMR_MANUAL_APPROVERS
WHERE F_AMR_SITE = @@var_site
ORDER BY F_AMR_APPROVER_EMAIL ASC

For some reason it refuses to list the data in the dropdown on the approver1 form. We don't know what is causing this issue. Thanks!

Regards,
Donald Akalusi

Hi Donald,

I noticed you're calling the "F_AMR_APPROVER_EMAIL" field twice. Have you tried using aliases for it? e.g.
Code: Select all
SELECT F_AMR_APPROVER_EMAIL as email_id, F_AMR_APPROVER_EMAIL as email_label
I hope it helps.

Hi Giovani,

I tried it but it still isn't working. I noticed that it lists the data when I remove the 'where' statement. However when I put back the 'where' statement, there is no data in the list. I believe this is where the problem is. I'll work on it and if I have any more questions Ill be back. Thank You!
