hello,

In property "sql" in textbox web control for example, we can't use variable that we create it in variables tab.

for example

select p.program_name from is_programs as p inner join is_courses as c on c.program_id = p.program_id where c.course_id = @@doneOrarchivecourses

it is not work although @@doneOrarchivecourses has a value.

This problem is a very big problem.

I am on 2.8 and 2.0: I found no easy predictable way of composing query in sql property of the field -- it all depends on the datatype. Here is an example of an sql statement with a variable string (I suspect your @@doneOrarchivecourses field is a string):
SELECT Description from JobMaster WHERE JobNumber="@#jobNumber"


Mind you I am not on 3.0, querying against mssql, with database connection functioning properly, @#jobNumber is a string. Hope this helps.

what version are you on? Are you sure your database connection works? Also I had issues with using SQL functions in the statement -- it was not parsing correctly. Please test your query without the JOIN first.

Yes, database connection works and the query is true and @@doneOrarchivecourses has a value, @@doneOrarchivecourses appears in textbox that has @@doneOrarchivecourses variable in the same Dynform.
I also try select @@doneOrarchivecourses
