When I am trying to pause a case, Processmaker is prompting me to enter unpause date, but the date picker doesn't allow me to choose a date. Is this a bug or else do I have to do any setting changes to be able to pause a case.

Is there any webservice available to pause a case.

There is no web service to pause a case. What you have to do is create a trigger with the function:
pauseCase(@@APPLICATION, @@INDEX, @@USER_LOGGED, ");

Then use the web service function executeTrigger() to execute the trigger with pauseCase().
