Hello there,

I want to clear the radio button's value.
The Problem is, i want to check mandatory for the radio button in the form2. Using the value selected in the previous form, i need to show the status of the user in form2. So i have used trigger to show the status using condition according to radio button's value. In this case the selected value of radio button in form1 has been stored and reflected in form2. Then i did unchek for the radio button in form2. But still the value remains in form2. If i click on submit button without the mandatory check for radio, the form is moving to next stage and it is due to the stored value.
Now, how can i clear the stored value of radio button?
To uncheck the radio(worked)
Code: Select all
$("input[type=radio][value=" + send_for_expertise + "]").prop("checked",false);
To clear a field's value(Not Working)
Code: Select all
$("#var_Simulation_Type").setValue("")
Kindly help me to solve this problem

I have no idea why you want to do this, but you can clear the values in all the options in a radio button whose ID is "selectType" like this:
Code: Select all
$("#form\\[selectType\\]").prop("value", '');
By the way, you can uncheck the radio button like this:
Code: Select all
$("#form\\[selectType\\]").prop("checked", false);
