After 2.8 upgrade, Status not showing under participated

After 2.8 upgrade, Status not showing under participated

I just updated from ProcessMaker 2.5 to 2.8 on a debian based Turnkey Linux server. After the update, users are noticing that under Participated cases the status field is blank for each case that shows there (see screenshot).

Is there anyway to fix this issue?
