Hi all, i've recently started using Processmaker and have gone through the wiki....i have a website i'm developing with Joomla but i need to have a dynaform present on the site to capture various information from users who want to do a special registration(not for the website). Firstly, is this possible in Joomla; if so how? If it is not possible, can i be directed as to how it is done for a website being developed via 'hard coding' (with html etc). I'm not going the route of SOPA...if possible. Grateful, thanks.

You can run processmaker inside an <iframe> or <frame>. For example:
Code: Select all
<html>
<body><p>This is my header!</p>
<iframe width="100%" height="600" src="http://localhost:2039/sys/en/uxs/login/login">
<p>This is my footer!</p>
</body>
</html>
You can create an iframe in your Joomla page and do the same. If you only want to display one form, you can use Web Entry.

You can maybe use similar Joomla extensions like Sourcerer http://www.nonumber.nl/extensions/sourcerer

Sourcerer enables you to place PHP and any kind of HTML style code (including CSS and JavaScript) right into your content! Not only in your articles, but also in sections, categories, modules, components, META tags, etc.

You can now just place your original codes right into your WYSIWYG editor. The only thing you have to do is surround the code with the Sourcerer tags. Easy peasy!

So now you can also use PHP scripts in your content. That opens up a great deal of possibilities.

Most Joomla! Text Editors will strip parts of your HTML code, like JavaScripts (think of statistics scripts) and movie embed tags. With Sourcerer you won't have these limitations.

Is there any chance to use with SSO with cAPI for example? https://learn.getcapi.org/

If you have the ProcessMaker Enterprise Edition, then you can use Single Sign On based on Active Directory. See:
http://wiki.processmaker.com/3.1/Windows_Single_SignOn

If you have Single Sign On configured, then you can use oAuth2 to login remotely with cAPI. I've never used cAPI, but if it supports standard REST calls, then it should work. You should look at the ProcessMaker REST documentation.
