Hi

Im new in processmaker, and need upgrade the default mysql 5.1 to 5.5.
Its posible?

Please help,i'm using V 2.5.2 edition with mysql version 5.1.50 in windows Server 2008

First of all, I don't recommend upgrading MySQL, since PM 3.0.1.8 is compatible with MySQL 5.1, but if you want to do it...

You can use mysqldump to make a backup copy of your databases and then install MySQL 5.5 in exactly the same place in your file system where MySQL 5.1 was located and use then following command to reinstall the database:
mysql -u root -p < BACKUP-FILE.sql

Make sure to make a full backup so you can restore everything if anything goes wrong.

Step 1: Log in to WHM by visiting either “example-site.com:2087” or “example-site.com/whm.” You can also ask your web host how to access WHM.

Step 2: Navigate to Software > MySQL Upgrade or type “MySQL” into the search bar. You may also find it under SQL Services > MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade.

Step 3: Select the version of MySQL you want to upgrade to and click Next. Now follow the upgrade steps, and it’ll take care of everything for you.
