Hi everybody,
I have installed the version 2.044. then copy the database from version 2.0.40. I was able to see the data from the administrator. But when I try to create a new case I receive the pop up named: Error creating a new case, wit the messages:

Unable to execute INSERT statement. Somebody have a idea about this error.

Hi jornig,

This can be solved by going to Admin > Case cache list builder and click on the option Build Cache, you need to synchronize databases.

Please verify it and let me know if it works.

Could you try using the next commands in the terminal of linux or command line of windows.

php -f processmaker database-upgrade

Hi mjaenvar, the execution was repeated two time more and then we receive this error messages trying to create a new case.

Do you have a procedure for migrate from 2.0.40 to 2.0.44.

Hi jornig,

Now you can rebuild the cache you can find this option in admin.

About your question we don't have a procedure to do migrate from each version, its the same for all the version 2.X.X.

but why you didn't do an upgrade instead of a migration? You did it in a new server?. because do a migration is to do a new installation of ProcessMaker.

to do a migration you have to do a backup of the three databases of ProcessMaker and a Backup of the directory Shared and then do the restore of the backup of the databases and restore the directory shared in the new installation and then run the commands I posted before. And ProcessMaker it will be running.

I need to create a new server of processmaker with the current version 2.0.40 to apply the upgrade procedure to version 2.0.44

I have done the next step:

1. Install the version 2.0.40 in a new server.
2. Make a backup of the three database from the current processmaker server 2.0.40
3. Apply this backup into the new 2.0.40 server.

After this three step I try to start a new case but receive a xml error.
According with your comment is necesary do a backup of the directory Shared, my question is: What is the location of this directory Shared?

Hello,
the share folder is in your processmaker installation folder:

example

/opt/processmaker/shared (Linux)

or

C:/users/your_user_name/appData/roaming/processmaker_2.0.4.0/ processmaker/shared (if install with windows .exe file)
