Does anybody know how to retrieve a control's FORM UID?
I have a parent form that has multiple subforms. Each subforms has unique controls, for example:
Parent Form
Subform1
subform1_controlA
Subform2
subform2_controlA

I have the name of the control, and I want to get the UID of the subform that it's located in.

You can find the ID of the field's subform with this JavaScript code:
var subformId = $("#fieldID").closest("div.pmdynaform-form").prop("id");
where fieldID is the ID of the field.

If you are creating an event handler for the field, then you can do something like this in your event handler code:
Code: Select all
$("#fieldID").setOnchange( function(newVal, oldVal) {
   var subformId = this.form.el.id;
});
Task doesnt have any users.
