Can any one tell me how to remove the old out put document generated by PM which are not useful any more in order to free some space.

You want to delete files with the path:
shared/sites/{workspace}/files/XXX/XXX/XXX/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/outdocs/XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_X.doc or .html or .pdf
