Hi all,

I want to change the required status of a field in the dynaform. I can disable the field with the following script:

$("#ProjectFrom").getControl().attr('disabled',false);

I found the model keys of the text box with the command below and found the "required" key

getFieldById("ProjectFrom").model.keys();

I can't modify with the following script. Do you have another option for that?


$("#ProjectFrom").getControl().attr('required',true);

You need to use control.enableValidation() and control.disableValidation().

Mark the field as required in its properties. If you don't want to it to be required by default, then add this code to your Dynaform to remove required when the Dynaform loads:

$("myFieldId").disableValidation(); //executes when the form loads
