I have a process that works well now but when I tryed to make it more functional it works wrong.

I have two users who can start a case (leo and bryan), when leo starts a case and his case has been disapproved the task should return to leo (because he initiated it and he must fix it) but the task is reasigned to Bryan instead.

So I need my process maintain the flow as it was initiated.

How can I program it in order to assign the denegated task to the user who started it as owner?

You need to Value Based Assignment in the first task in your process and use a trigger to record the user who started the case in the first task. See the "Enter complaint" task in the example about Value Based Assignment.
