If you don't want to use the Single Sign On plugin in the Enterprise Edition, you can implement your own single sign on by either modifying workflow/engine/methods/login/authentication.php or modifying the RBAC::VerifyLogin() function (or the RBAC::VerifyWithOtherAuthenticationSource() function) defined in gulliver/system/class.rbac.php.
