I have a requirement to implement a system with PM with shopping cart function. The steps will be:
1. User input keyword to search for product
2. System query database table with the keyword and display product list (incld prod id, name, price and other info), each row with a check box
3. User tick the check box to choose products and click button to add selected items to cart
4. User can view cart, delete items in cart, or go back to search and add more item, or check out and proceed to next step

I'm quite new to PM, not sure whether it's doable, if yes:
1. what type of variable shall I use to hold the "cart" items? Array?
2. is grid suitable for displaying the search result, as well as the cart? how to sync the selection/deletion in grid row with the cart variable?
3. i plan to have two forms, one for search and show search result, the other for cart management, doable?

Any sample codes will be much appreciated! Thanks!

I used the dynaform you provided in your previous question (viewtopic.php?f=44&t=730412) to design a basic example of a shopping cart, check it out and try to tweak it to your needs.
