1. I have backup the workflow as .tar file using command line

2. And restore the workflow with the different name as a finance in command prompt windows 8

3. But only the empty database have been created "wf_finanace", which doesn't have a any build in tables like APPLICATION?

Hello,

Are you following the entire restoration process explained in the wiki? Remember you also need to backup and restore the database wf_workflow with the command:

 mysqldump -u root -p -F -x --databases wf_workflow > BACKUP-FILE.sql 

and then restore it afterwards with

Code: Select all

mysql -u root -p < BACKUP-FILE.sql 

since you are changing the name of your workspace you will also need to enter mysql and change the name of the restored database "wf_workflow" to "wf_finance"

if you encounter any errors regarding non-existent users after the restoration, use the command:

mysqldump -u root -p -F -x --alldatabases > BACKUP-FILE.sql

and try again

Can you post the output that you see when you make the backup file?
And post the exact commands that you used. Are you using a manual or a bitnami install?
