Questions, suggestions and discussion around ProcessMaker 3 documentation

Hi,

In https://wiki.processmaker.com/3.2/Datetime_Control
I found
jQuery("#fieldID").getValue() Returns the field's label, which is the text displayed above or to the left of the field to identify it to the end user.
and
jQuery("#fieldID").getLabel() Returns the field's label, which is the text displayed above or to the left of the field to identify it.

Grateful if I can be advised what are the differences between them.

Furthermore, what would be the proper method to get the value of DateTime field in Dynaform.

thank you for your kind attention.

cheers,
Karl

Hi,

getValue return the value of the field for example : "2019-12-05"
getLabel return the label of the field for example : "start date" or "end date" or any label you set for your field
getText return the showed text in for this field for example : "2019-12-05" that may be different with getValue
