Dear all,

I am trying to make dropdown as dependent field and textbox as an independent field.
I have checked mysql log and i found that my query did not parse the variable on textbox.

Here is my query on dropdown as dependent field.

Code: Select all

SELECT USR_USERNAME FROM USERS WHERE USR_EMAIL='@#emailEndUser'

Can you explain what is my mistake? Or should i post it in mantis?

Hello khoer52,

You are parsing your string where it comes the email, into a float, you can use @@ or @= in order to execute the query. We already try this and it works. SELECT USR_USERNAME FROM USERS WHERE USR_EMAIL='@=emailEndUser'
