Questions and discussion about using ProcessMaker: user interface, running cases & functionality
#829026
Hi,

I am using Multiple Steps Dyanform. And on each dynaform, there is a navbar on the top - "Previous Step" and "Next Step".
If I click the "Next Step", it will stop me from submitting the form if there are any empty controls required. So I believe some hidden function is embedded and got triggered when I click this "Next Step", just like how the "Submit" button works.

Here is my problem:
I am using the below code to move the navbar from the top to the bottom of my form, which makes sense for users to nav to different pages.
Code: Select all
var navBar = document.getElementById("dyn_backward").parentNode.innerHTML;
navBar = '<div style="width: 100%; padding: 0px 10px; margin: 15px 0px 0px;">'+ cosNavBar +'</div>';
document.getElementById("dyn_backward").parentNode.innerHTML = '';
$("#"+formId).append(cosNavBar);
I have checked, all HTML elements are the same, but the hidden function to check if any required fields is not working anymore, if I click "Next Step", then it will just go to the next page without checking "required" fields.

Please help, any ideas about what is happening behind it? :?:

Thank you
Yuan
