Custom case list

We have the enterprise edition and I recently explored the custom case list plugin.... I was under the impression that each user will have their own custom view, but it appears this isn't the case (pun unintended). Custom Case List makes EVERYONE view the same columns - this makes the plugin kind of useless because every user will have their own cases.
