Questions and discussion about using ProcessMaker: user interface, running cases & functionality
#814570
Hi, we've been using Processmaker for over a year now and we noticed that the 'Advanced Search' section is very long to search for something if we don,t search by user. It takes about 3-4 minutes if we don't put any other filter than the search string.

Our IT department did a database verify consistency on the database that holds all the Processmaker Tables and here is the result:
> Number of user related inconsistencies for workspace workflow: 3573151

What could cause this ? In 4 days, it increased by 16329

We're not sure if the long searching and the inconsistencies are related but it would be nice to have something to look for.

Thanks

Advanced search is searching the APP_CACHE_VIEW table in the database. How many cases do you have? ProcessMaker Community Edition slows down a lot with a large number of cases in the database. ProcessMaker Enterprise Edition is better designed to handle a large number of cases, but I don't think that it will speed up searches in the APP_CACHE_VIEW table.

You can reconstruct your APP_CACHE_VIEW table by going to Admin > Case List Cache Builder and clicking on "Build Cache". If you have something wrong with your APP_CACHE_VIEW table, that will fix it.
