Questions and discussion about using ProcessMaker: user interface, running cases & functionality

Hi, using Community Edition 3.2.1. Tried to upload a new logo the PM logo through the admin section. The uploader proceeds but only returns the X symbol (as if the image was not loaded). I experienced the same problem when trying to upload a photo in the User section.
I assume this has something to do with the PM engine but do not know which third party SW it uses for photo gallery.
Can anybody help, please?

Are you using a Linux installation? The problem might be that you need to add write permissions to the directory:
{INSTALL-DIRECTORY}/processmaker/shared/sites/{workspace}/logos
For example:
chmod +wx opt/processmaker/shared/sites/workflow/logos

If that isn't the problem, see if the logo file exists in the directory. Also, what type of file are you trying to upload? ProcessMaker can't deal with all types of image files. JPEG and PNG should work. Other file types may not work.

Hi, thank you very much. I am using the community edition on Windows. I double checked the permissions but to na avail. For testing purposes, I also tried to upload the processmaker default logo but with the same result.Earlier on, I checked if the GD library is installed and working - it is. Running out of clues here - maybe it is time for reinstallation.

Try deleting your compiled cache found in the following folders:
processmaker\compiled\*
processmaker\shared\sites\{workspace}\cachefiles\*
processmaker\shared\sites\{workspace}\cache\*

If the compiled cache isn't the problem, then edit your workflow\engine\config\env.ini file and add the lines:
Code: Select all
debug = 1
debug_sql = 1
Try to upload another logo file and then post the contents of your processmaker\workflow\public_html\php_errors.log, processmaker\shared\log\propel.log and processmaker\shared\log\queriesWithErrors.log files.

Dear Amos, thank you very much for your efforts. Tried all the steps you recommended but could not get it up and working.

Since I am only in a testing phase, I reinstalled the PM and now it works.

Once again, many thanks.
