Questions and discussion about using ProcessMaker: user interface, running cases & functionality

Dear All,
The strangest thing happening on our live environment server. We created a process in our development environment and migrated it over to the live environment. The process worked perfectly in the development environment.
After allocating the appropriate user(s) to the tasks in the process when any of these users try to open a new case, the process is not visible on the new case page and as a net result, nobody can start a new case.
Has this happened to anyone before and if so how was it resolved?

Hi Amos,
The dev server is identical to the live. We make sure that they are both the same version of Ubuntu, MySQL, Apache.

Let's go through the obvious things. Are you sure that all the users in the Live server are assigned to the starting tasks in the processes? When you export and then import a process, you loose the users assigned to tasks, so you have to reassign them to the tasks. Do the users in both PM servers have the same roles? If they have different permissions, that might effect something, however, all users with PM_CASES permission should be able to start cases.
