Questions and discussion about using ProcessMaker: user interface, running cases & functionality

I have confirmed access to ProcessMaker through https using a GoDaddy provided certificate. However, when I try to access the application via the ProcessMaker mobile app (Android) I get the error.

"The app does not support self signed certificated for Https connections"

This isn't a self-signed certificate, it shows valid in Google Chrome plus online SSL web checks. Is this a known issue with the app?

ProcessMaker 3.1.3-community
MySQL 5.5.54
Apache 2.4.6
PHP 5.6.30
OpenSSL 1.0.1e

In the mobile app setup, for the URL I am using https://<public_url>

It works if I remove the requirement for SSL only connections and configure the mobile app with http rather than https.

I'm chatting with the developer of the mobile app. He asks if you can provide the URL of your installation so he can test it, along with a valid username and password and workspace so that he can login. Email it to me at amos@processmaker.com

The mobile developer says that our enterprisetrial was SSL from Godaddy, so it should work.

What type of certificate are you using and which handshake protocol are you using? What version of Android? Maybe we are not supporting all of the SSL protocols for the hand shake. This also may be that your version of Android is not supporting the handshake protocol of SSL you are using.

I'll send details to the developer as you had previously requested, just working through some other To-Do's for the moment.

Here are the other details..

Android 7.0
TLS 1.0, 1.1, 1.2
SSL v2/v3 are disabled

Chrome on Android is showing the SSL connection successfully.

Hi itslenny,

This issue is related to a non trusted ssl certificate, the Android APP requires to have a fully trusted certificate, but not the iOS app.

You can check this link to verify your certificate by checking this site https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-checker. ... google.com. It should have a feedback like this:
The hostname (google.com) is correctly listed in the certificate.

I hope this helps you.

It does have a fully trusted certificate, which the site you gave me also confirms....

Lenny, Did you send me an email with the URL, username and password to login to your installation of PM? I can't find it in my email, but I don't know what email to search for either. :-) The mobile developer wants to test your installation to see whether it is an issue with Android 7.

This must have been fixed in 3.2 or a Android app update. It appears to be working now on app 1.2.0.1 and PM3.2

HTTPS is meant for a secure connection between requests and responses from the server, this is necessary for the mobile app for any mobile platform even for game apps and utility applications even for websites also https://bit.ly/3MGA61g

There are a few things you can try to resolve this issue:

Update the mobile app to the latest version. The latest version of the app may include support for self-signed certificates.
Use a different certificate. You can try using a https://owegle.com/ different certificate that is issued by a trusted certificate authority.
Configure ProcessMaker to use HTTP. This is not ideal, as it will make your connections less secure. However, it is a workaround that you can use https://ospeedtest.com/ until https://voojio.com/chatroom/omegle the issue is fixed.
I apologize https://omegle.ws/ for the inconvenience this may cause.
