Questions and discussion about using ProcessMaker: user interface, running cases & functionality
#789330
Hi,

We are using ProcessMaker 3.1 Community Edition. To develop the reports or advanced dashboards do we need to install Enterprise Edition plugin in processmaker. We are following the below link
http://wiki.processmaker.com/index.php/ ... _Dashboard.

In the following link the user is installing simple report plugin. Do we need to download this plugin and then install it in the ProcessMaker?

You need to upgrade your Processmaker from Community version to Enterprise version to get access of the Enterprise plugins which will allow you to use Advanced Dashboards and Reports.

Thanks Mishika.

We have installed Enterprise version also, but could not see the Advanced Dashboard feature under Enterprise Features. Please check the attachment.

I think you are looking into the Enterprise Features tab.
Please have a look at the Enterprise Plugins tab. Here you will find the list of all the plugins provided by the Processmaker.

Best Regards

Mishika,

We are using trial version of ProcessMaker 3.1 (Enterprise edition) and there are no plugins available under Enterprise Plugins tab. Do we need to download data reporting plugin and then install it in the ProcessMaker?

As you are using a trial version of Processmaker Enterprise, you will have only the access of Enterprise features and not the plugins.
To access them you will have to buy the Enterprise version of Processmaker.

Best Regards,
Mishika
Thanks Mishika.

So the data reporting tools plugin will be available in the processmaker if we buy the Enterprise version of Processmaker?
Could you please check the following link

Yes, the reporting tool plugin will be available to you only if you buy the Enterprise Version of ProcessMaker.
Please have a look at the following link:

You will require the Enterprise Version to access the plugin.

Thanks Mishika.

Is there any options to integrate SQL Server SSRS reports to ProcessMaker 3.1 (trial version)?

There is currently no integration with SQL Server SSRS reports. You can contact ProcessMaker Sales to ask how much it would cost to do such a integration. Another option is to create triggers in PM processes which write case data to SQL Server, so that SSRS Reports can be used. See the documentation on executeQuery() and Database Connections.

Is there any other reporting options are available in ProcessMaker 3.1 Community Edition?

There are no reporting tools in the Community Edition, except the Dashboards, which show almost no information. You can make your own custom dashboard with plugins or you can add database queries with triggers to make your own report. In my experience, the best route with the Community Edition is to export your case data with Report Tables and use Jasper Reports to generate reports.

Another option is to use plot.ly or google charts to interact with your SQL database.
First make good report tables inside ProcessMaker (go to ADMIN > PM Tables > New report table) it's easy to manage inside Plotly or Google Charts.

You must know at least a little bit of HTML / PHP or JAVA and to have access to the server.

Good Luck!
