#783717
Hello,

i want to use a grid. The fist field in a row ist the ID. Now i want the following fields to be filled by a SQL query.
Example

Database: ID, PRODUCT, PRICE

The Grid:

Grid_Field_1_ID: (SELECT ID FROM DATABASE)
-> dependent field = Grid_Field_2_PRODUCT; Grid_Field_3_PRICE

Grid_Field_2_PRODUCT: (SELECT PRODUCT FROM DATABASE WHERE ??????????????????)

How can i find the correct syntax to get the value of the first field - in the correct (actual) row?

It woud be very fine if someone have a usefull trick...
best regards

The where in your grid field 2 would be @#Grid_Field_1_ID

in my example i have grid field 1 as a dropdown for Category, grid field 2 is a dropdown for Sub category, and field 2 is a dropdown of items. so after a category is selected, the sub category auto populates with relavent info

so the sql in field 2 is:
SELECT I.ID_SUBCATEGORY, I.SUBCATEGORY
FROM PMT_PARTSLIST_SUBCATEGORY I
WHERE I.ID_CATEGORY = @#CATEGORY ORDER BY SUBCATEGORY
