Ask questions about installing and configuring ProcessMaker 3
#831003
I apologize for any lack of knowledge on this matter, but I have a question regarding the free version of ProcessMaker. I noticed that the version available on SourceForge goes up to 3.5.7 (https://sourceforge.net/projects/processmaker/files/ProcessMaker/), whereas a 4.1 version is accessible for download (https://github.com/ProcessMaker/processmaker/releases) https://chatrandom.download for the purpose of an exclusive update.

Has anyone successfully updated to the latest 4.1 version? Alternatively, is this 4.1 version not intended for updating the open-source version? I would greatly appreciate it if someone http://koows.com/ could clarify https://e-chats.com/omegle the https://chatrandom.download/omegle/ distinction for me.

Thank you for your invaluable assistance.

Best regards.

I'm not sure I understand your question but I'll try to share what I gathered so far.
From what I understood you can't upgrade from 3.x to 4.x. You'll have to start over with a fresh PM4 installation. There is PM4 core version that is open source, without any enterprise features, so you can try that out. I'm not sure if that version is suitable for production, as it seams it is only for testing it. Information about it is very scarce and I didn't test it yet.
Also, for now I don't believe there is yet a tool to convert processes designed in PM3 to PM4, so I guess you'll have to re-design the processes from scratch in PM4.

Keep in mind that PM3 Community Edition is no longer available on sourceforge or github form more than a month, and there is no information why or if it will be available again. This might suggest that PM3 Community Edition is no longer endorsed by Colosa/Processmaker so you should switch to PM4, or altogether to another BPM solution.

I hope you find something useful in this post.
Cheers!
