Ask questions about installing and configuring ProcessMaker 3

I would like to keep track of changes we make in ProcessMaker. We currently use SVN for our other applications and I would like to put ProcessMaker into SVN.

It seems like there are lots of files that are created and change. What files or directories are well suited to track in SVN and which files or directories would I maybe want to exclude from the repository?

Thanks

All the files for cases are stored in the shared/sites/workspace/files directory, so that is what you want to track with SVN.
All other case data is stored in the MySQL database wf_workspace.

If you want all the files used by process definitions, then you can include the whole shared/sites/workspace directory, but exclude cache, cachefiles and routes.php.

Yes, you can exclude shared/compiled, because that contains the compiled cache for ProcessMaker. You want to include shared/sites because that has all your case and process files as I explained before, but there are parts that you can exclude as I explained in the previous post.
