Ask questions about installing and configuring ProcessMaker 3

I'm currently running 2.5.1 and I'd like to upgrade to 3.0.1.7. I looked through the available resources, but I cannot find anything stating a specific upgrade path from 2.5.1 to 3.0.* . Do I have to upgrade to 2.8 and then to 3.0 and so on? Are there any community scripts available to upgrade from 2.5.1 to 3.0.* directly?

Thanks.

First of all, make a backup of your old installation and the databases in case anything goes wrong. You can follow the upgrade procedure on the wiki. It is possible to upgrade directly from 2.5 to 3.0.1.7.
Note: I don't recommend upgrading to PM 3.1.X if you have a lot of old processes from PM 2.X. PM 3.1 introduced a number of bugs with old processes and all of them haven't been resolved. Hopefully in PM 3.2 they will all get fixed.

Remember that you have to change the configuration of Apache to work in PM 2.8 and later.

amosbatto,

I've read the wiki and upgrade process. To which Apache configuration change are you referring?

Thanks,
Jay
