Hi. The standar procedure to enable SQL Server as described in http://wiki.processmaker.com/3.0/Databa ... QL_Windows does not work with lastest processmaker version. Using the lastest php_dblib.dll generates an error when ProcessMajerApache is starting. The error is:

php[5484]
PHP Warning: PHP Startup: mssql: Unable to initialize module
Module compiled with module API=20121212
PHP compiled with module API=20131226
These options need to match

How to enable the SQL Server for this version ( ProcesMaker is the lastest, PHP is 5.6.28).

For now, the easiest solution is to downgrade to PHP 5.5.

If you want to compile freetds and PHP 5.6 yourself, see these instructions for CentOS/RedHat:
http://www.plugged.in/linux/build-php5- ... pport.html
For Debian/Ubuntu:
http://www.informaticapressapochista.co ... g-freetds/

For Windows, Josh Urbain has created a freetds.dll for PHP 5.6. See:
https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=232844

To enable a network protocol:
On the Start menu, choose All Programs, point to Microsoft SQL Server and then click SQL Server Configuration Manager.
Optionally, you can open Computer Manager by right-clicking My Computer and choosing Manage. In Computer Management, expand Services and Applications, expand SQL Server Configuration Manager.
Expand SQL Server Network Configuration, and then click Protocols for InstanceName.
In the list of protocols, right-click the protocol you want to enable, and then click Enable.
The icon for the protocol will change to show that the protocol is enabled.
To disable the protocol, follow the same steps, but choose Disable in step 3.

To configure a network protocol:
On the Start menu, right-click My Computer, and then choose Manage.
In Computer Management, expand Services and Applications, expand SQL Server Configuration Manager, expand Server Network Configuration, expand Protocols for InstanceName, and then click the protocol you want to configure.
Note
If you select Tcp, you can choose to enable specific IP addresses in the right pane.
Right-click the protocol you want to configure, and then choose Properties.
In Properties, you can set the protocol-specific options.

      For PaperCut NG/MF versions 18.3.9 and below, download the latest version of Microsoft’s JDBC driver (sqljdbc_7.0.0.0_enu.exe) for SQL Server from this link:

      https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/jdbc/download-microsoft-jdbc-driver-for-sql-server?view=sql-server-2017
      Run the downloaded file to extract the files.

      Copy the file mssql-jdbc-7.0.0.jre8.jar from the location the files were extracted to, to <PaperCut MF or NG install directory>\server\lib-ext\

      Run the downloaded file to extract the files.

      Copy the following entries into the server.properties config file (where bold text is site specific).(Comment out the old entries—that will be your backup plan!)

      database.type=SQLServer

      database.driver=com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver

      database.url=jdbc:sqlserver://serverName:portNumber;databaseName=databasename;socketTimeout=600000

      database.username=username

      database.password=password https://www.tejar.pk/

      If the connection requires additional properties (not expected, based on what we know), you can find them here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sql/connect/jdbc/setting-the-connection-properties?view=sql-server-2017
