Then try to see if you could view your php script.

Though from my experience creating a directory inside public_html was not what I usually do but just writing my php script inside public_html is good enough.

ProcessMaker doesn't let you access subdirectories within the public_html directory. I filed a bug report about this over a year ago, but it was never fixed. You have to put your script directly in the public_html directory and not in a subdirectory.

You probably need to include the extension:
http://localhost/test.php
or use a rewrite rule in your vhost definition in the Apache configuration file (which is named pmos.conf if you are not using the Bitnami installer.)

when you create a file on the path "public_html". You can create file and folders.
step to reproduce
Open the path "public_html"
create a folder for example: "test"
create a file for example: "index.html" and save into folder "test"
include in the path of the browser will open the file "index.html"
